FAQ

When do I need to RSVP by?

We are asking for an early RSVP by February 1st, 2025 through our wedding website. If your plans change after February 1st, please keep us informed and we will make the necessary adjustments with our planner.

When/Where is the wedding taking place?

We will be holding our wedding at Chateau de Lartigolle in Pessan, France on Saturday, July 19th, 2025 at 4:30pm, with a cocktail hour and reception to follow.

What days should we plan on being in France?

For immediate family and the wedding party, accommodations have been made to host you from Thursday evening, July 17th through Monday morning, July 21st. For our other guests, Saturday is the wedding ceremony and reception. Both Thursday and Sunday's events are optional. We would love to have you at all events, however, we understand if you have other commitments that require you to arrive or depart on different days.

What is the time difference in France?

France operates on Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) and is six hours ahead of Eastern Standard Time (EST).

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Please arrive to Chateau de Lartigolle no later than 4 PM on Saturday, July 19th. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Transportation from your various accommodations will be provided on the day of the wedding to and from the chateau. If you plan to drive to the chateau, please let us know and we can coordinate parking on-site.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Weather permitting, we are planning to host all events outdoors. During July in Pessan, the temperature on average ranges from 59°F-84°F. Our venue will have varying degrees of direct sunlight throughout the day. We recommend lighter fabrics and layers to stay cool.

What is the dress code for the wedding events?

Welcome Party - Dressy Casual | Rehearsal Dinner - Cocktail | Wedding - Formal | Send-Off BBQ + Pool Party: Casual/Swimwear. Note: For ladies on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, we would recommend a chunkier or block heel for both the lawn and gravel venue spaces.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one? Am I allowed to bring my children?

If "and guest" or your plus-one's name is written on your wedding invitation, your guest is welcome to all events. If your children's names are written on our wedding invitation, they are welcome to all events. Due to our venue restrictions, we have had to limit total guest count including number of children in attendance.

Do you have childcare recommendations?

If you are interested in local babysitting recommendations, please reach out to us as we are gathering names and references from our planner. If your child's attendance is a barrier to your attendance, please reach out to us as initial RSVPs may enable our ability to include them.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding events?

Yes! All we ask is that during the wedding ceremony you keep your phones away and on silent. We will have a professional photographer to capture the moments and are more than happy to share photos with you following the events.

What is the best way to inform you of dietary restrictions and/or allergies?

After our initial RSVP, we will be reaching out to all attendees to gather dietary restrictions and needed information.

Where should we bring or send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the present! If you insist on giving a gift, please see the Registry tab. A wedding card box will also be at our reception.
