Our love story began in the summer of 2019, when we first crossed paths in Cincinnati through mutual P&G friends. Our connection was magnetic and we quickly became inseparable. It was clear from the start that we both shared an easy-going silly nature, dry sense of humor, and an appreciation for living life to the fullest. Shortly after, we made things official and began dating, excited to see where this new chapter would take us. One of our first dates was to Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY to watch the horse racing.

It didn’t take long for us to realize we both shared a deep love of travel and adventure. After a spontaneous 'odds are' bet came true, we decided to put our relationship to the test and booked an extended trip over the Thanksgiving holiday to western Europe. We traveled to Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Istanbul, and Paris relishing in the unique history, culture, and cuisine of each place. This trip not only marked the beginning of our shared travels, but also deepened our connection as we navigated new places, cultures, and experiences hand-in-hand. The journey left us with unforgettable memories and a shared excitement of more adventures to come.

From that point on we took every opportunity to continue our travels together. The new year brought us to Scottsdale and Seattle and our curiosity about life out west began to grow. Little did we know that COVID was around the corner and would halt our shenanigans. We decided to move in together that summer as we realized we were going to make the most of it (and life) together. In quick order, Andrew won over Amelia's heart, attempted to teach Steph how to golf (still a work-in-progress), and spoiled Steph daily with his uncanny chef skills. Steph expanded Andrew's horizons growing his appreciation for R&B music, reality TV, and Trader Joe's Scandinavian Swimmers sour gummy snacks.

After restrictions were lifted, we were itching to get back out in the world. We planned a trip to Lake Tahoe and Napa which combined the best of both worlds, time spent outdoors in nature and wine tasting. The paddleboarding on Lake Tahoe was incredible with crystal clear waters. We both loved the wine tasting experiences at Domaine Carneros, Quintessa, Nickel and Nickel, and Darioush. Napa became a special place to us and we returned home eager to learn more about wine and begin curating our own collection.

In the spring of 2021, we made a bold move—relocating to Boise, Idaho for Steph's promotion. Andrew had never visited before, but took Steph's word for it that he would love what the city had to offer. This marked a major new chapter in our lives as we became homeowners for the first time in a location that was the furthest away either of us had lived from family before. We wasted no time embracing our new backyard and spent our free time biking, hiking, white water rafting, and discovering all the beauty that Idaho had to offer. We loved hosting our family and friends who came to visit for football season, ski trips, and holidays. This was a time of growth for both of us, strengthening our partnership and laying the foundation for our future together.

After we were settled in Boise, we decided to push our (Steph's) limits and planned a trip to Peru. Peru is one of Andrew's favorite countries and he was very eager to share his love of Lima with Steph and explore new areas of the country for the first time together. The itinerary blended a safari through the Amazon jungle where we fished for piranhas and sought out tarantulas, a 26 mile four-day trek on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, and a stay on the coastline in Lima with exquisite meals at both Central and Maido. Our appreciation for each other grew as we realized how the other's unique qualities brought our relationship balance and made us a great team both inside and outside of our comfort zones.

In October of 2022, Andrew had a surprise up his sleeve. Knowing how much Steph loved the charm of Napa Valley, he secretly planned a romantic getaway to this picturesque destination. Surrounded by rolling vineyards and breathtaking views in a sculpture garden, Andrew got down on one knee and asked Steph to spend the rest of their lives together. Overwhelmed with happiness, Steph said “yes!” The proposal was incredibly thoughtful and extremely fitting to mark the beginning of the next chapter in our lives -- happily engaged, fiancées!

In the summer of 2023, we made the choice to return to Cincinnati to continue growing our careers and be closer to family. This time around, our family had grown by one -- thanks to the addition of our border-collie/husky rescue, Oliver! We loaded the truck and made our 40 hour drive back across the country. We took full advantage of the road-trip with stops in Shoshone Falls, Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park, Mount Rushmore, and the Badlands.

2024 has been an amazing year for us! We have settled into our new home in Fort Thomas, KY, traveled to Spain, Turks and Caicos, Japan, and Iceland, both started new roles at P&G, and have been enjoying spending more time with our family and friends on the east coast. To top it off, we found our dream wedding location and set a wedding date! We can't wait to add a new chapter to our story as we become husband and wife and celebrate with you this summer in France!
